The World National 18 Championships are hosted at Findhorn at the beginning of August. A fleet of 24 boats entered this years event. The Royal Findhorn Yacht Club has an active dinghy section with boats ranging from Dart Stings to Mirrors. Racing takes place from April to October on most weekends and from May to August on midweek evenings.
