ROTA, Spain (Oct. 21, 2014) – Oceanographic survey ship USNS Bruce C. Heezen (T-AGS 64), a special mission ship owned and operated by the Navy's Military Sealift Command, conducts a routine port visit in Rota, Spain. MSC operates approximately 110 non-combatant, civilian-crewed ships that replenish Navy ships, conduct specialized missions, strategically preposition combat cargo at sea around the world and move military cargo and supplies used by deployed forces and coalition partners.
