ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 2, 2017) Capt. Paul C. Spedero Jr., commanding officer of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike) dons flight gear in a paraloft aboard the ship. Ike and its carrier strike group are currently underway conducting a sustainment exercise in support of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP).
