A fresh uncooked Pouting, Trisopterus luscus, that has been caught on rod and line from a boat in the English Channel. Pouting are often considered poor eating in the UK but if filleted and deep fried in batter, for example, they can make an alternative to other white fish such as cod or haddock. They are also known as bib, whiting pout or simply as pout. Dorset England UK GB
