Dental metal-ceramic bridge. Close-up of the lower jaw of a 45-year old man who has been fitted with a new dental bridge to replace an older one. This ceramic bridge replaces the missing incisors and canines. The premolars were filed down and shaped to accommodate the new bridge. Crowns, bridges and dentures are prosthetic teeth fitted to replace missing teeth, or teeth too damaged to be repaired.
