A monument in the park that forms the middle of the community's town square dedicated to all veterans that served in the armed forces, 'past, present and future.' The statue was presented by the local VFW post on its 50th anniversary in 1996. Throughout the year, the community holds numerous events, however likely most signifcant being Groundhog Days that celebrates Woodstock's serving as Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania in the famed Bill Murray film 'Groundhog Day.'
