It is the intention torun two rotaries from one bank of three transformers, and atpresent but two transformers are installed. The transformers are rated at 220 kw each, and are, ofcourse, more than ample capacity for the one converter. Theyare operated on open-delta connection, the two secondarywindings under this arrangement being connected in case it is ever desired to install a second rotary in the sub-station, one more transformer will be added to the group, inwhic
