Payson Omena to North-port is seven miles by a most beautiful and picturesqueroad, passing- en route the old Indian town of Ah-g-o-sa,named after an Indian chief of early repute. Northport, a little villag-e of 600 inhabitants, is theoutpost of Leelanaw peninsula. Its history marks thebeg-inning- of the white settlement of Leelanaw Count3^In 1849 the Rev. Geo. N.
