Seaoul, Korea - 15 April 2004; Gyeongbokgung, also known as Gyeongbok Palace, was the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Built in 1395, it is located in northern Seoul, South has been destroyed and rebuilt many times in its history. Most recently, it was systematically raised to the ground by Imperial Japanese troops in the 20th Century.
