OAK HARBOR, Wash. (Mar. 29, 2018) — Rear Adm. Michael Wettlaufer, middle right, Commander, Carrier Strike Group Three, speaks with Aircrewman (Operator) 1st Class Kyle Olson, right, attached to the "Golden Swordsmen" of Patrol Squadron (VP) 47, during a visit to Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Ten. VP-47 is a maritime patrol squadron stationed at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. The "Golden Swordsmen" recently completed their first 1,000 hours of flight in the P-8A Poseidon, the Navy's premiere long-range anti-submarine warfare platform.
