Alice's Garden, sponsored by Houndshill's Shopping Centre, is a large 30m (100ft) display featuring a magical water garden, 2m (8ft) bridge and scenes from 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland', published by Lewis Carroll in 1865. Here we see an oblique portrait shot of the 'Mad Hatter's Tea Party', with Alice, March Hare, Hatter and Tired Dormouse from Chapter 7 and living playing cards painting white roses on a red rose tree (because the Queen of Hearts hates white roses) from Chapter 8. The water garden with LED lights reflecting in the water is in the foreground of the shot. Alice' Garden replaces an original Alice Tableau, badly damaged by a storm in 2010.
