The project extends the fourth classroom in the infants block and demolishes the small lean to extensions adjacent to the central hall. This allows direct level access out of the hall onto a sheltered area of decking. The form provides maximum natural light deep into the classroom, a dramatic interior space and a protruding reading window at the pupils level so they have legible views in and out.
