Col. Charles Metzgar, 446th Airlift Wing vice commander, hands the 313th Airlift Squadron guidon to Lt. Col. Josh Anderson during the change of command ceremony Feb. 6, 2021, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. The guidon is symbolic and pays tribute to the achievements of the men and women of the 313th Airlift Squadron. One notable achieve is the squadron provided aerial transportation in the European Theater of Operations (ETO) during World War II.
