Lt. Col. Joshua Pieczonka salutes Marines during a change of command ceremony aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, Feb. 23. During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Kristian von Heimburg relinquished command of Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224 to Pieczonka. During the ceremony, von Heimburg was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his leadership as the Bengals’ CO aboard the air station and during their recent deployment in support of combat operations overseas.
