Satterlee,of New York, the candidate of the other. In the clergyhouse the vote was 92 for Dr. Brooks, and 58 for Of the lay delegates 55 voted for Dr. Brooks,and 32 for Dr. Satterlee. C, on May 15th,fourteen SouthernStates, and New Mexicoand Arizona will berepresented. It is in-tended that the Exposi-tion should be a perma-nent one, but a specialeffort will be made, fromOctober to Dec, to have an impressive show-ing of the farm products and resources of theSouth. One of the most interestipg featureswill be the exhibit showing the advancement ofthe colored race. This branch will be managedexclusively by colored men, each State havingits own commissioner.
