Part of the restored ancient fortress.

The earliest Cape settlements date from the 4th century BC, when the area was inhabited by the Thracian tribe of Tiris. In the 5-6th century, the fortress named Accra(Cape) gained the importance of a fortified nucleus against the incoming barbarian tribes and was one of the 15 cities in the province of Scythia.
