The wreck of ship 2412 at Mather Field in Sacramento, California. The ship fell 3000 feet due to the pilot losing control. The brass quadrant under the rear seat broke, causing the ailerons to be put out of control. The ship landed in a tree and broke into two pieces behind the engine. It was fortunate that the pilot was in the front seat, which saved their life. This image is not for publication and is for official use only.
