I will now leave the boisterous lo-cality of the Eddystone, and ask youto wander with me to more pleasantscenes that are historical as well asbeautiful. Follow me to the Plym, near which one of the oldest cities inEngland is built. It is a name hon-ored by all, both at home and in yourcountry, and I think I am not wrongin saying it is historic. Let us crossLaura Bridge that is built on the Plym, and we may see some fine horses, forTaltrem races are being held. Thereare some fine pools along its banks, andformerly great quantities of salmonwere taken every season, but the spear and many other foul appliances havgdestroyed this as a fishing locality,
