Mainz, Germany. 24th February 2020. Andreas Scheuer, the federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, is depicted on a float in the Mainz Rose Monday parade. He shovels bundles of money into a coffin, alluding to his costly disaster in trying to introduce an Motorway toll system. Around half a million people lined the streets of Mainz for the traditional Rose Monday Carnival Parade. The 9 km long parade with over 9,000 participants is one of the three large Rose Monday Parades in Germany.
