Gothic Revival Straining Tower, Lake Vyrnwy, Powys, Wales

Lake Vyrnwy was built in the 1880s for Liverpool Corporation Waterworks to supply Liverpool with fresh water. The gothic revival straining tower filters out material in the water before it travels along an aqueduct to Liverpool.
