STATUS: Rare in the Northwest Territories. Endangered in Iowa, Missouri, and New York; rare in Connecticut, Illinois, Rhode Island, and Virginia. NOTES: In Ontario, Scirpus maritimus is disjunct from populations 800 km to the southeast and 1200 km to the west. HABITAT: Marécages côtiers et estuariens de la zone intertidale (en particulier mares marécageuses dans les pannes) et prés marécageux de la zone supratidale. SITUATION: Rare dans les Territoires du Nord- Ouest. Menacée d'extinction en lowa, au Missouri et dans l'État de New York; rare au Connecticut, en Illinois, au Rhode Island et en Virginie.
