Representative ground photos plus documentation of each bench-mark location and a short dis- cussion of each profile line are given in Appendix B. II. DEFINITION OF TERMS The analysis of the data includes discussions of the temporal and spatial changes to certain profile features including the bluff crest, bluff toe, shoreline, and waterline. These features, along with other important terms used are illustrated in Figure 3 and defined below. (a) Bluff crest - line along the bluff which divides active eroding bluff from stable bluff. Generally well defined in eroding bluffs.
