Ruchlaw, Stenton, Haddingto7ishire.—This is a typical example of theclass (Fig. 1667). It has a marbleface inserted in the stone table, whichbears the name Archibald sydserf,ROUGHLAW. His initials (see p. 425)occur on a stone at Ruchlaw, dated1663.
