Blackpool now holds the Guinness World Record for the biggest beach ball in history. The seaside resort had it's achievement validated by Guinness World Records as it inflated the 18 meter diameter ball on the beach adjacent to Central Pier in Blackpool. The beach ball is three times the size of a typical house and is the same height as the White House in Washington DC, USA. Friday 15th August 2014
