Controversial view of the Berlin Wall at the East Side Gallery. The section pictured was removed to allow building work
In this picture the a section of the original wall was recently and quite controversially removed during the night to make access for large building work taking place in the area of the East Side Gallery. This caused some consternation amongst the locals who felt they had won a legal argument for the wall to remain untouched. It is alleged the section of the wall removed will be returned to its original location
