US Air Force Capt. Scott F. O'Grady, surrounded by US Flags, speaks to members of the press upon his arrival. Capt. O'Grady's F-16 Fighting Falcon was shot down over Bosnia on June 2, 1995, while he was flying in support of Operation Deny Flight. After 6 days of evasion he was rescued by US Marines from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, deployed from the USS KEARSAGE (LHD-3). Capt. O'Grady is attached to the 555th Fighter Squadron, 31st Fighter Wing.
