The elaborate Moonlight Pavillion at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, Cambodia is illuminated as local people gather to celebrate the eve of the annual Cambodian Water Festival. The main festival is due on 8 Nov 2022, and while the traditional long dragon boat races have been cancelled, many other events and celebrations take place over three days along the banks of the Tonle Sap River in front of the Royal Palace.
