Edmundston is a good point from which to visitLake Temiscouata, and a good many people make the trip each on again with the St. John current, a 25-mile run past the fertilehighlands and intervales of Madawaska and Grand Isle, and the traveleris back in Van Buren, the starting-point of the whole no mile trip. If time will permit, the vacationer had better take the 12-mile ridedown-stream to Grand falls for a view of that world-famous , if he cares to fish a while in Canadian waters, he will find thefamous fishing grounds of the Restigouche splendidly stocked, andmost easily reached from Van Crows Ncsi Point, Fish River.
