The French Institute (Institut de France) is located in the 6th arrondissement on the left bank in Paris, France. Its famous 156 foot dome glows in the early morning light along with a setting moon. (listed as World Heritage site by UNESCO) The institute, originally known as College of the Four Nations, is the home the French Academy and was created by architect Louis Le Vau in the French Classical Style.
