A flintlock pistol, Le Sage, Versailles, circa 1800. Reblued barrel in two stages, the breech section octagonal then round after a baluster, with smooth bore in mm calibre with a cannon muzzle. There is a mark, crossed palm fronds, stamped three times on breech over remnants of a gilded background. The lock has retained some bluing. It has a frizzen with roller and a waterproof pan. The lock plate is signed "Le Sage A Versailles". Walnut stock, iron furniture with remnants of bluing. Ebonised ramrod with bone tip. Length 40 cm. Le Sage is known in Paris ci,
