A flintlock pistol, Le Sage, Versailles, circa 1800. Reblued barrel in two stages, the breech section octagonal then round after a baluster, with smooth bore in mm calibre with a cannon muzzle. There is a mark, crossed palm fronds, stamped three times on breech over remnants of a gilded background. The lock has retained some bluing. It has a frizzen with roller and a waterproof pan.
