Schwalenberg. He was prominent in social, business and politicalcircles, and was one of the most widely known and re-spected men in the place. He left a widow, two sonsand a daughter, all of whom are living. At the time ofMr. Schwalenbergs removal to Hunters Point thatlocality was coming into notice as the terminus of theLong Island Railroad. The Thirty-fourth street ferrywas established about that time, and Mr. Schwalenbergforesaw, to a considerable degree, the future growth andimportance of Hunters Point, which he later sawrealized. William H. Schwalenberg was born February 24th1852, at the
