Rain Cap for the Elevating Screw of a Carronade. Raindop for the elevation screw of a carronade. It has a cylindrical body with convex closure above and trumpet-shaped base, which has a cut out for the kulas and two holes for bolts, with which the cap has been mounted on the gun. Around the body a large, loose ring is applied, which shields the bolts of the rain and can easily be lifted to reach them.
