Duart Castle is the oldest inhabited castle on the Isle of Mull, home to the 28th Chief of Clan Maclean. It has staterooms in the 13th century keep and an exhibition of clan history. Also in the castle are the dungeons where some of the crew of the Spanish Armada were kept prisoner after being shipwrecked in the nearby Sound of Mull. Duart Castle is open to the public.
