US military forces. PACIFIC OCEAN (Jan. 18, 2018) Pilots assigned to the “Bounty Hunters” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 2 observe Capt. Tom Barber, commander, Carrier Air Wing 2, and Cmdr. Jason Hutcherson, commanding officer of VFA-2 as they fly over the flightdeck prior completing their 1,000th carrier arrested landing or “trap” aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70).
