Crossrail station at Canary Wharf Docklands, London, England,
Crossrail Canary Wharf is one of the largest Crossrail stations. Like the nearby Canary Wharf Tube station, the new Crossrail station is built in dock water area, in this case the North Dock of West India Quay. The station is approximately the size of One Canada Square laid on its side. British firm Foster + Partners has designed the roof structure and cladding that wraps around the four storeys of shopping and leisure facilities above ground level, as well as the gardens on the top level. Collectively named Crossrail Place, the shopping centre and outdoor space will opened to the public on 1 May 2015.
