The train is running on the up line, Southport to Wigan as the down line is being relayed. The train left Crewe Basford Hall at this morning and is arriving here at hrs running under head code or train reporting number 6Y53. The railway between Southport and Wigan is closed for the week from to with passenger services being replaced by rail replacement buses. Beyond the locomotive are the two church spires of Our Lady and All Saints RC Church and a bit further away, Christ Church, Douglas - in – Parbold.
