Newcourt, Camden & Stow. The Original founder in 1100 was Jordan Briset, who also founded an Order of Nuns close by. The present Church, part of the Priory having become private Property was bought by the Commissioners for building 50 New Churches, and consecrated 1723, as a Parish Church, but subordinate to St James.
