Hermitage Water with Hermitage Castle beyond

Hermitage Water with Hermitage Castle beyond - where the Cout of Keilder, an English knight, was drowned in a river pool held down by his heavy armour and the spears of his Scottish enemies, who lured him to the castle with a banquet. The legend was that no weapon could pierce the 'armour of proof' worn by this knight, and no weapon ever did.
