The image captures the severe damage to a church caused by enemy artillery fire during World War One. The walls of the church have been completely torn away, leaving a devastated structure behind. This photograph, coded G-2, was taken at 1830ED on an unknown date and was received by the photographer on May 12, 1919. It is noted with the symbol C Additionally, there is a handwritten inscription mentioning "ALATE EMNE M ORGUN Zersen Hirche."
