We often see exquisite designs, particularly ofbraiding, intended for various parts of a ladys apparel and fancy articles. To copy these, first make a drawing upon paper, if it is desired to preservethe original print, then lay the drawing upon an even cloth, and perforate allthe lines with a needle close and even. Then take finely powdered charcoalthree parts, resin one part in fine powder ; mix and tie it in a piece of porousmuslin, so as to form a dusting bag. VARIOUS FANCY ARTICLES. Lay the perforated drawing upon your material, and fasten firmly at eachcorner by driving pins through it into the board or table you are using. Rub. THE HORN CORNUCOPIA. the dusting bag over the perforations, which will permit the dust to fall throughthe holes, and thus outline the pattern.
