The individual variability encountered throughout the work, examples of which are seen in Tables II and III and in the standard errors indicated in Figures 4 and 9, made statistical validation of all conclusions desirable. Probability (P) values for the significance of differences between means were computed by "Stu- dent's" t test. The variability was presumably due to variations in age, feeding.
