FORT IRWIN, Calif. — Guest Blackhorse Troopers from Killer Troop, 3rd Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, ascend a hilltop and establish an observation post that overlooks Drink Water Valley, in preparation for an imminent attack, June 26, 2017. The Thunder Squadron Troopers are at the National Training Center supporting the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment for NTC Rotation , in order to enhance the training experience of the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo., for future contingency operations.
