'The Waldorf Astoria, Sert Room, Murals by Jose Maria Sert' c1930s. The present hotel, at 301 Park Avenue, New York, is a 47-story m (625 ft) Art Deco structure designed by architects Schultze and Weaver and dates from 1931. The Sert Dining Room was thus called as it was decortated with murals by Jose Maria Sert (1874–1945). From a postcard produced by Steel-0-Graph Corp, c1930s.
