In 2007 Bostjan Skrabar won the award for being Slovenia's most innovative young farmer of the year. At his Sempeter farm he grows hops over 20 hectares of land. During the season Bostjan Skrabar and his 15 field workers tend to the plants which will produce 2,000 kilos of hops during the august harvest. These hops are exported United Kingdom to brew beer.
