The first operational aircraft to arrive at Prince Sultan Air Base are KC-135s from the 912th Aerial Refueling Squadron, Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. Originally assigned at Riyadh, they are here so they can continue to provide air refueling capability in support of Operation Southern Watch/Operation Desert Focus.
