Afternoon shade urban alley view, towards Trinity Church, yellow taxi vans cars moving Wall Street at Hanover Street, New York

Trinity Church, at the intersection of Broadway and Wall Street, is the third church on the site. Completed in the Gothic-Revival style in 1846, its 86m (281 ft) spire and cross, a beacon for sailing ships entering New York Harbour, was once the highest point in New York. The church was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1976. Wall Street, at the heart of New York's Financial District is partly pedestrianised. The section east of Williams Street is open to traffic.
