Gävle - Dala Railway, GDJ steam car 1, Driver section> GDJ's steam engine carriage was a "standard car" Sentinel made with their steam engine, ie a fast -moving multi -cylinder machine that does not operate directly but via a A 2 cyl of the same as Type as in the load cars. Later sentinel steam cars than GDJs were much more modern, not chain as part of the power transmission, automatic Stoker & Water feed for the boiler, bogies, etc.
