The former Darlinghurst Gaol in Sydney, now the National Art School was built with convict labour in a radial pattern around a central round chapel


2022 is the centenary year for the National Art School that officially took control of the site in 1922. Prior to that the gaol was used as an internment camp in WW1 after closing as a gaol in 1914
