Old mining equipment abandoned at Holy Cross City, a Ghost Towh, high in the Colorado Rockies. The town can be reached either on foot or by 4WD (4x4) although it is a tough journey. the cost of removing the huge amount of scrap metal on the site when it closed was Hugh. it was cheaper to leave it abandoned to the elements and history. The town was deserted by the late 1890s
