Although the Game Committee favorsthe introduction of Elk in permanentlyfenced areas where the surroundingcountry is not vast enough to receive anoverflow from the increasing hard, never-theless its efforts will be directed towardthe establishment of wild herds in GameRefuges where such herds can incresaeand restock the adjacent region.
